Send S’more My Way!

Right now, I’m going to show you something fun to make, you can guess by the title but let me tell you quickly why I’m choosing this.

I love autumn and hanging with my friends and this is such a fun and easy thing to do at home when staying in and watching movies or just chilling. It also brings back memories from my past from when I did camps in the autumn and winter months and you would chill around the campfire.

S’MOREEES… homemade though!

So straight into it.

You will need:

Marshmallows (any size will do but small melt faster)

Biscuits (I used hobnobs cause I love them and well, we don’t have graham crackers in Ireland)

Chocolate, whatever and any type you want! White dark or milk!

The Steps:

  1. Firstly, take all your ingredients and set them up to take some really cool Instagram photos to hashtag and filter. Make sure to use #livelovelardbake mainly so I can salivate by looking at them.

  2. Get your chocolate and melt it in a bowl over a saucepan with boiling water.

You can do this in a microwave if you want but I personally prefer over a saucepan so I can keep stirring and not burn the chocolate (I’m useless with a microwave).

  1. Add a dash of milk or cream, when the chocolate is partly melted and keep stirring until it’s all melted and mixed in. This will stop the chocolate from solidifying again meaning you can cover your biscuit of choice. L

Leave the chocolate to the side to thicken but not solidify.

  1. Next, melt your marshmallows in the same way in a new dish so you can keep the pretty bright colours, because it’s all about presentation for Instagram.

  2. Once you chocolate has thickened and marshmallows melted it’s time to serve. Lay out your biscuits.

Either using your fingers or little spoons, put your chocolate on your biscuits and then your marshmallows.
  3. This is the fun part, you can lay out a spread of different toppings it doesn’t have to be marshmallows all the time, you can try fruits like banana and strawberry’s if marshmallow isn’t your thing.
  4. Finally, ENJOY!
